Homework Tower Defence

its definetly a game with good ideas, and massive potential. it can be the next bloons td with effort
As a seasoned td player i would like to give you some tips from what I like in a TD. all the towers look the same, when attacking. BORING. i know it is time consuming to animate all sorts of attacks, but if you really want it, you can do it. second, you had said all towers have their own special ability. i had all towers, fully upped, and with its powerup item, and still no change between towers EXCEPT damage. each tower should do something different. EX. the artist should throw pencils. then upgrade to throwing pens or sharpened charcoal. then dousing the creeps with a bucket of paint for splash and slow. the musical should start by hitting the homework with a music note, then do a wide sound burst, then a 360 degree soundwave attack with the final upgrade. the mathematician should start by throwing math signs (+ - x /), then with the second upgrade, start throwing a ruler, for larger damage range, and for final upgrade, throw a protractor for damage over a large area, in a bommerang like path. the chemist should start by throwing testubes, for minor splash damage, and minor slow. then start throwing beakers of liquid nitro, for large splase and freesing/slowing. then for the final upgrade, throw beakers for explosive damage and hp drain. (corrosive chemicals) i dont have any ideas for the physist though, but it could use things like gravity to slow, or vaccuums to send them backwords for a short period of time. as for the biologist, germ warfare. useing different bacteria to damage the hoemwork over time. since it will be the most powerful tower, it should gain new attacks additional to the one with its previous upgrades. for instance, first upgrade hits them fro minor health drain. the second one hits for impact damage, and slow, and the final upgrade is the homework will explode upone dying, and spead the bacteria to the homework that gets hit buy the blast.

but those are just some ideas.

as for music, the same loop is very short. if it wore longer, but like 30 seconds it would be a little better. there should be an option to turn it off, as it does get annoying after a while, but i feel tha the title screen or video tutorial should have a different music. example, alice coopers "schools out" or twisterd sister's "we're not going to take it"

overall, its a good game that kept me playing to the end. my only complaints is that the towers are all too alike, ans the music gets boring after a while.

it a right site better then the originals. thats a good sign. the voice quality has improved well, even if the voice acting still isnt the best. the joke were for the most part funny. i loved the ending, and the GB jokes. great stuff there. good job.

T E T R I S ' D: The Game

its got some flaws. you can corner roll on ANY block, even if it would put you into another block, which kills you, for instance, rolling into the middle of a square block. also, the jump is TOO strong. you jump way too high, half would have done it. the animation is good, and i LOVE the song, can i get an mp3? pretty good, just need some minor tweaks

i dont vote 10 very often. 7-9 is my usual. i only vote 10 to the most deserving submissions. i was stuck here fro 3 hours straight. then i decided to move on to do other things. i got all medals, as far as i can tell, and my best score is (ya its true) 5,084,372 feet. (which is 962.95 miles) i used the tank, fired nearly straight up, used the missle at the apex of the launch, then fired one bullet every time turtle fell below 700 feet. this carried me up until just under my 1st mill. i had saved up exactly 100 nukes. and started firing them off, one by one. i managed to get a total of 8 more bullets, and after all was said and done, got that score. i'm sorry i can get a pic, but its true. as for psyccopenguin, i would have to say you misread your distance. you used 10 nukes, and got 8 mill, yet i used 100 nukes. therefore i should have got 80 million. but i didnt. i only got 5. so you might want to check your score better. great game though. as to all those who thinks that the pricing is unfair. it really isnt once you get a hang of the game, and get about 10k-20k a round. my advice is get the upgrades in order of price. only get the 3rd gun, until you got cannon right b4 the golden one, and then save up for the sniper rifle. dont use nukes unless you know you can make more then 10k that round, as if you dont, you will end up with less money then last round. once you can make over 2000$ a round, buy a chest bomb every round. great game.

Thanks man. Yeah I had a few jokes in mind, particularly one with SCV units, drones, and probes complaining about their day jobs. I drew up the Zerglings first and I loved the design so much that I came up with the solo cartoon. Just something to test the waters with.

Spy & Scouts Mum elope

its a good flash, but you seem to have forgotten, it was the RED spy that had an affair with the blu scouts mom. it was just the Blu spy who showed it to the scout (who was really the red spy.

it is a funny thought to have the gun run out of juice, and screw the player, but the developers had said themselves that a closing portal would only push teh player out, not kill them, so it make no sense to anyone who played the game. however, if it was like the player sliding on the platform towards their firey death, and they shoot a portal, then another, but then they die, so player tries again, and again, then looks on a display on the ashpd and sees a battery low message, then kinda goes "oh shi-" and then falls into the flames. thats what i was imagining when i first saw it. good try, you just have to think a little more. artwork and animation was good, and the idea is funny, you just need to work the kinks out
